Mountain Pacific Construction was part of the team that delivered Pendry Park City, a six-story luxury resort in Canyons Village. The project features over 152 hotel rooms, 150 branded residences, and 40,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, all built to meet the demands of a high-altitude, year-round destination.
Execution Excellence
Mountain Pacific Construction faced and overcame significant alpine construction challenges, including the removal of nearly 97,000 cubic yards of earth and the installation of a 30-foot soil-nail retention wall to stabilize the sloped terrain and bedrock. Construction sequencing was carefully planned to avoid disruption to surrounding ski lifts and resort operations. The structural and exterior envelope—featuring steel framing, stone and metal cladding, expansive glazing, and high-density insulation—was built to meet Pendry’s contemporary design goals while performing reliably in a high-snow, high-altitude environment. Underground parking, ski access, and the integration of rooftop and lobby amenities all required precise coordination across teams to maintain safety and keep the resort area accessible during construction.
Amenities and Resort Integration
The property features the only rooftop pool and bar in Canyons Village, four unique dining and lounge concepts, Spa Pendry with eight treatment rooms, a fitness center, Pinwheel Kids Club, and over 7,000 square feet of indoor meeting and event space. Mountain Pacific Construction worked closely with SB Architects and IBI Group to ensure each amenity was integrated seamlessly into the building’s structure and finished to the highest standards. Public spaces, interiors, and guest services areas were delivered with the same care and precision as the residences, reflecting Mountain Pacific’s commitment to quality at every level of the build.
