Apex Residences
Apex Residences is a ski‑through mountain community in Canyons Village, Park City. Located at the highest elevation within the resort, the project comprises 63 residences with direct ski‑in/ski‑out access carved through the development. Designed for durability and refined alpine living, it highlights Mountain Pacific’s attention to structural performance, site logistics, and seamless integration with Park City Mountain Resort.
Construction and Site Experience
This project presented alpine engineering challenges, including excavation at 8,500 ft elevation and coordinating the ski trail that bisects the site. Our team's logistical planning ensured safe mass snow loads, slope‑side connectivity, and construction sequencing that allowed the ski lift infrastructure to remain active. The architectural exterior, featuring clean lines, expansive glazing, steel, and native stone, was executed with precision to meet strict mountain-grade codes.
Client Collaboration
Vail Resorts Hospitality to deliver a clubhouse and amenity suite that meets the expectations of high-standard mountain resort living. The 5,800 square foot clubhouse includes a year-round heated swimming pool, infinity hot tubs with valley views, a firepit lounge, full fitness center with sauna and steam rooms, spa treatment rooms, a game room, and a club bar designed to host light breakfast and après-ski service in season. Structural integration of these features into the sloped terrain required close coordination across structural, mechanical, and lighting trades.
Each residence includes high-efficiency kitchens, gas grills on decks, fireplaces, large-format windows that frame both mountain and valley views, and balcony hot tubs. All fixtures and finishes were selected and installed to meet the durability and performance demands of the alpine climate. Private ski rooms with boot warmers and gear lockers support a seamless year-round experience for owners and guests alike.
